The Best Original Song award went to “El Mal” from the film Emilia Pérez, composed by Clément Ducol and performed by Camille. This marked the first Oscar win for both artists. In her acceptance speech, Camille emphasized the power of music and art in driving progress.

Jagger’s appearance added a touch of rock ‘n’ roll flair to the ceremony, especially given the context of the evening. The biopic A Complete Unknown*, chronicling Bob Dylan’s life and starring Timothée Chalamet, had been nominated for eight Oscars, including Best Actor. The Oscars ceremony was hosted by Conan O’Brien, who delivered a performance filled with humor and unexpected moments, contributing to an evening that celebrated both cinematic achievements and the vibrant personalities that define the entertainment industry
