Royal News: Prince William launches new project close to his heart…..
New York Post Entertainment has all the latest news on the royal family, from Kate Middleton and Prince William to King Charles and Queen Camilla, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, and more.
The Prince of Wales has returned from a royal trip with wife Kate Middleton to their namesake nation, and he’s started a new project close to his heart.
On Thursday, Prince William launched a new £50 million ($63 million) initiative with Homewards Activator, a local coalition he’s worked with for years that aims to prevent and end homelessness, to get more people off the streets.
William, 42, paid a visit to Homewards Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole (BCP) to kick off the effort that will build, develop or refurbish homes.
William also visited Millenium House, Poole, an 11-bed mental health supported housing project where residents are given their own support plan to help get them to a place where they can live independently.
Homewards also has a Job Ready Program, taught at Bournemouth and Poole College, where participants can work toward employment opportunities
