Travis Kelce Once Stripped to His Underwear at Women’s Charity Event — and Shut It Down

Travis Kelce’s college teammates and colleagues recalled his wild antics at the University of Cincinnati that involved a striptease at a breast cancer event

Travis Kelce will never be accused of not giving the people what they want.

In a feature published in the Athletic Wednesday, former teammates, friends and colleagues of Travis and his brother Jason Kelce detailed the wild days of having the Kelces on campus at the University of Cincinnati.

Namely, a charity event that Travis participated in during his time as a Bearcat.

“We always had the women’s Football 101, which was a fundraiser for breast cancer,” University of Cincinnati football office administrator Sherry Murray recalled, “and we would do a player fashion show as part of it.”

Perhaps unsurprisingly, Travis decided to turn the respectable function into something a little bit more risqué.

“Travis, when it was his turn, he decided to strip at the top of the runway and walked down in his underwear, those compression shorts,” Murray continued. “So of course all 300 of these middle-aged women are hooting and hollering and carrying on.”

Murray concluded, “We decided that might be a good time to end the fashion show portion of this program.”

Travis’ eccentric behavior at the charity event certainly wasn’t an isolated incident as Greg Davis, the father of former Bearcats offensive lineman Evan Davis, recalled.

“Always a jokester, always a comic,” Greg remembered. “We were down at Party Source buying some stuff for the weekend and here comes Travis around the corner with a sombrero on, driving an electric shopping cart. And it’s filled, stuff piling out of the basket.”

Davis’ son Greg — and Travis’ college teammate from 2008 to 2011 — felt similarly, saying of his pal, “He’s not scared to talk to anybody, he relates to everybody, he’s personable. It’s one thing to be all of those things, but you still have to go out and take a risk, and that’s Travis.”
