In a recent heartwarming gesture, Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, enlisted the help of her children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, along with her wedding dress designer, Clare Waight Keller, to bake cookies for the audience of The Drew Barrymore Show.

This thoughtful act coincided with Meghan’s appearance on the show to promote her new Netflix series, With Love, Meghan.

The baking session took place in the family’s Montecito, California home, where Meghan was joined by her 5Year-old son Archie and 3Year-old daughter Lilibet. The children actively participated in making thumbprint cookies, with Lilibet standing on a step stool to reach the counter. Clare Waight Keller, renowned for designing Meghan’s wedding dress in 2018, and family friend Kelly McKee Zajfen also assisted in the kitchen.

Meghan shared a video of the baking activity on her Instagram account, expressing gratitude to Keller and Zajfen for their support. The cookies, filled with raspberry jam from her lifestyle brand “As Ever,” were prepared as a special treat for the show’s audience.

During her appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, Meghan surprised the audience by distributing the homemade cookies. Host Drew Barrymore highlighted this gesture, noting, “Meghan literally made cookies for all of you guys.” Meghan described the baking endeavor as a “family affair,” emphasizing the collective effort that went into preparing the treats.

This initiative not only showcased Meghan’s dedication to creating personal and meaningful experiences but also provided a glimpse into the Sussex family’s domestic life. Such moments reflect their commitment to nurturing a loving and collaborative environment, both within their household and in their public engagements.

With Love, Meghan, now streaming on Netflix, offers viewers further insight into Meghan’s passions, including cooking and gardening, as she explores these hobbies with friends and family. The series aims to present an authentic portrayal of her life beyond royal duties, highlighting her personal interests and connections.

Overall, the cookie-baking video serves as a testament to the Sussex family’s unity and Meghan’s desire to share their cherished moments with the public, fostering a sense of closeness and relatability.
