Brotherly love is not bereft of teasing. The Kelce brothers are proof of that.
Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and his brother Jason, the Eagles center, are not shy about telling each other how much they care for one another. But they like to poke fun, too.
For example, the “New Heights” podcast shared a photo of Travis Kelce arriving in Buffalo a day ahead of Sunday’s AFC Divisional playoff game against the Bills.
Jason Kelce responded to that photo with this message: “Looks like he’s auditioning for a new Wes Anderson film”
Jason Kelce apparently has seen the movie, “Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou.”
Taylor Swift fans, though, saw something else. The mustard yellow suit Travis paired with a multicolored striped sweater reminded them of a similar outfit Swift wears in the 2022 video for “Anti-Hero.”
Does she choose her boyfriend’s outfits, Swifties wondered when they saw Travis, which isn’t the first time they’ve debated that.
“Think it’s safe to say he’s very aware of the amount of scrutiny he’s under by her fan base and gets a kick out of this kind of thing,” Swift fan Jessica Lennon tweeted.
Photos shared by the Chiefs of the players’ arrival showed that they didn’t let the weather in Western New York chill their fashion statements on this big game day.
On the contrary. Wide receiver Mecole Hardman wore fancy “ice” around his neck. A jet-shaped diamond pendant dangled from a chunky diamond necklace around his neck. The jet was massive.
Hardman, whose nickname is “Jet,” reportedly had the necklace made in the off-season. It has a picture of him sitting in the jet.
Cornerback L’Jarius Sneed looked sharp.
Offensive lineman Trey Smith wore a “skeleton” brown varsity jacket emblazoned with a rib cage on the front and back and bones on the sleeves. The $95 jacket is sold by Fashion Nova.
Smith’s fellow offensive lineman Lucas Niang also wore a varsity jacket — the $6,400 monogram playground varsity blouson by Louis Vuitton.
Quarterback Patrick Mahomes and kicker Harrison Butker looked like they arrived in Buffalo straight from a fashion photo shoot, both in suits.
True to his style preference, Mahomes wore no socks with the red-soled Christian Louboutin loafers he wore with a pin-striped, double-breasted suit.
Butker is always among the most stylish Chiefs. Dare we say, the best-dressed?
