A sixth-straight AFC Championship Game is officially on the schedule for the Kansas City Chiefs.

The perennial postseason presence is set to battle the Baltimore Ravens in less than a week for a shot at quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ fourth career Super Bowl appearance.

The team punched its ticket to another AFC title match with another instant classic win over the Buffalo Bills in the Divisional Round.

Before moving on to the Ravens, led by presumptive 2023 league MVP Lamar Jackson and head coach John Harbaugh, Chiefs head coach Andy Reid met with reporters on Monday to unpack the team’s second playoff 27-24 win.

A day after the game, Reid said he was most proud of his team for sticking together. The head coach said his players’ comradery in a hostile environment stood out.

On offense, Reid again highlighted wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling’s clutch catches on Sunday night. The wideout’s two critical receptions were an excellent response to a lackluster regular season campaign. The head coach also shouted out tight end Travis Kelce, rookie receiver Rashee Rice and the entire offensive line.

On the defensive side, Reid highlighted defensive lineman Chris Jones and cornerback L’Jarius Sneed, who the head coach has repeatedly called the best defensive back in the NFL. The defense rallied after a rough start and several unexpected injuries to safety Mike Edwards and linebacker Willie Gay Jr.

Reid also complimented General Manager Brett Veach, whose late-round draft picks, like Sneed and safety Chamari Conner, had impressive outings vs. the Bills.

Big Red also confirmed that he caught wind of Jason Kelce’s shirtless antics at the game.
