Travis Kelce has hit out at “disrespectful” Buffalo Bills fans for their treatment of Taylor Swift and his family – and they are the second NFL fanbase he has taken exception with.

The Kansas City Chiefs star wasn’t happy with how Bills supporters acted before his team won their NFL Playoff game last weekend. The ‘Bills Mafia’ are known for passionate support of their team, but they targeted Kelce’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift, his family, and his teammate Patrick Mahomes.

Kelce didn’t say exactly what the fans did, but he told his brother on their podcast that he felt it crossed the line. In response, he decided to “spread the love” with a heart-shaped celebration gesture when he scored a touchdown.

“I had to spread the love baby, you’ve always got to spread that love, baby,” Kelce said on his ‘New Heights’ Podcast. “There was a lot of hate pulling up to that stadium… understandably, it’s a football game. Did it get a little disrespectful? 1,000 percent. I’m not going to say [what] because that’s what they want, I’m not going to relay it.

“Some things were said about the family, some pretty inappropriate things were said about Pat Mahomes. It was pretty whack. I get it, coming into a hostile environment. I just wanted them to know it isn’t mutual… I don’t hate you guys like you hate us. It’s all love, baby.”

This isn’t the first time he’s spoken out against rival team fans for their behaviour towards his family. Before the 2022 season game against the New England Patriots, Kelce expressed his feelings on their fans on his podcast.
