The time zone and schedules of Swift and the game seem to match perfectly.

Speculation about Taylor Swift and her possible presence at Super Bowl LVIII has not stopped circulating on the Internet. The most recent indicates that if Travis Kelce and his Kansas City Chiefs seal their ticket to Las Vegas, so will the pop sensation.

One of the main reasons for the large amount of speculation surrounding Swift’s attendance at Allegiant Stadium on February 11 is that just one day before she has a performance in Tokyo, Japan, as part of her Eras Tour.

The journey seems impossible. However, NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport assured that sources familiar with the situation told him that Taylor does plan to attend the game in case the Chiefs beat the Baltimore Ravens.

Recounting the possible itinerary, Rapoport explained that the time difference and the international date change line work in the singer’s favor in this situation.

Taylor would have just enough time
“She does have a concert on Saturday, February 10 at 6 p.m. in Tokyo,”Rapoport admitted in a video on X, formerly Twitter. However, the journalist turned around: “Let me introduce you to the international date line.”

Initially, Rapoport said, “Tokyo is 17 hours ahead, which means this concert on February 10 at 6 p.m. starts at 1 a.m. Vegas time the same day, so the morning before the center.”

And he explained that if the concert lasts an hour, it would end at 11 p.m. Tokyo time, 6 a.m. Las Vegas time. He assumed Swift would be able to leave the concert venue an hour later and immediately board the plane back to the United States.

Also, assuming a 12-hour flight, the songstress would be back on Saturday at 7 p.m. in Las Vegas, with plenty of time for kickoff at Allegiant Stadium on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. local time, to support her boyfriend Travis Kelce.

The haters in action
Rapoport’s comment immediately aroused negative reactions among a large number of fans, from those who directly reproached the journalist by saying. “Ian, this is the worst thing you’ve ever tweeted,” to those who asked the Ravens to beat the Chiefs: “Oh yeah, Lamar save us fr.”

Nor could there be missing conspiracy theorists, who claim that the result of the game is rigged so that the Chiefs, with Swift in tow, reach the Super Bowl, nor those who took the trouble to say that the news does not interest them.

The coin is still in the air for the result of Kansas City-Baltimore, but the presence or absence of Swift in the game for the Vince Lombardi Trophy does not cease to cause controversy.
