Travis Kelce delivered a passionate speech to his Chiefs teammates after putting them on the path to the Super Bowl in Baltimore last week.

Kelce combined with quarterback Patrick Mahomes to score the opening touchdown in Kansas City’s 17-10 victory over the Ravens in the AFC Championship Game.

The two Chiefs stars then headed back towards the sidelines where they reminded their teammates of the task at hand.

As Kelce put down his helmet, he was approached by linebacker Nick Bolton. ‘Hell yeah!’ the linebacker shouted at his tight end.

But rather than celebrate, Kelce wanted to reiterate that the team’s job was not done. ‘More! There’s more!’ he shouted.

‘That’s only the beginning. That’s only the jump. That’s just the first punch!’ Kelce shouted

The tight end soon sat on the bench and reiterated the same message. ‘More! More!’ he roared.

He then stood up and began to march down the sidelines. ‘Hey, hey! That’s only the beginning. That’s only the jump. That’s just the first punch!’

Mahomes had a similar message for his teammates during the first quarter of Sunday’s game at M&T Bank Stadium.

‘Hey, attitude, attitude, attitude – no let up! Attitude, attitude, attitude, no let up at all!’

Kelce, who led the Chiefs with 11 receptions against the Ravens, later explained his comments on the team’s Youtube series, The Franchise.

‘You feel like you have to meet a certain level of accountability so you challenge yourself to be ready for everything,’ he said.

‘You challenge yourself to be that much more accountable for the guy next to you – it is what it is. You either have that desire to win and want to be ready for your guys or you don’t.’

The Chiefs tight end scored the opening touchdown and went on to record 11 receptions
