Jerry Rice has called on the 49ers to ‘double’ both Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift as the power couple hopes to leave Las Vegas celebrating a Super Bowl win.
Swift has regularly attended Kelce’s games since the pair went public with their relationship in September, and she’s expected to be at the Chiefs’ big game vs. San Francisco after wrapping up a series of shows in Tokyo.
And Rice, a 49ers legend, offered a lighthearted plan for his former team to stop their opponents.
‘We got to get to Patrick Mahomes and man, that’s a hard task,’ he told NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
‘And Travis Kelce, I would double him 100% and also, Taylor Swift, I would double her 100%. We don’t want Travis to get going because every time Travis is going, then the camera goes up to the box with Taylor Swift.

‘So, we gotta change that and if we do that I feel like we have a legitimate chance.’
Swift and Kelce were pictured celebrating together on the field at MT&T Bank Stadium following the Chiefs’ win in the AFC Championship Game.
And the pop megastar has undoubtedly introduced many of her ‘Swifties’ to the NFL.
‘Just watching her, she’s really into the game of football… the audience done gotten so much bigger, she done done so much for the NFL,’ Rice added. ‘And Travis, he’s balling right now and we gotta take him out of the game.
Kelce actually broke Rice’s all-time postseason receptions record vs. Baltimore, as he tallied 11 catches for 116 yards and a touchdown.
The Chiefs will face the 49ers at 6:30ET on Sunday.
