Taylor Swift is rumored to make a cameo in the upcoming Deadpool & Wolverine and Marvel’s new post seems to confirm a connection.

The highly-anticipated Deadpool & Wolverine is expected to include many famous names and faces, and Taylor Swift is also rumored to be in the film, and Marvel seems to hint at that.

On Friday, Marvel’s Australian and New Zealand official Facebook account shared a new poster for the highly anticipated third installment in the Deadpool franchise. Bringing back Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson/ Deadpool, the film will also mark Hugh Jackman’s return to Wolverine, who will play the lead character next to Reynolds’ Deadpool. The record-breaking trailer hinted at the multiverse with several possible X-Men characters, and the new Australian poster seems to address the rumors that Taylor Swift will also be in the superhero film.

The photo shared online shows three friendship bracelets: One for Deadpool, one for Wolverine, and another with the film’s release date, of July 25. Taylor Swift and her fandom are famous for friendship bracelets, as fans trade them on her The Eras Tour. At the same time, Swift is also on her record-breaking tour in Australia, which explains why Marvel’s Australian account would share that.

Some of the comments on the post also ask about Swift. One fan asked: “Taylor cameo in the movie?,” as another wrote “Swifties: is this an Easter egg?” and another was convinced that “Taylor Swift [is] confirmed.”

At the same time, this isn’t the first time marketing campaigns have used Swift to promote their new projects. Ryan Gosling is seen crying to Swift’s “All Too Well (10 Minute Version) (From the Vault)” in the latest trailer for The Fall Guy, and Swift has no connection to the film. Just as well, Despicable Me 4 has also recently shared a photo on X recreating Swift’s upcoming album, The Tortured Poets Department, as well as other moments from current pop culture. However, things regarding Deadpool & Wolverine and Taylor Swift are different.

The Grammy-winning singer is rumored to be a part of the upcoming installment, where she would play Dazzler, one of the several X-Men characters rumored to appear in the threequel. Both lead star Ryan Reynolds and director Shawn Levy refused to confirm (or deny) the claims. And Reynolds’ Wade Wilson previously wore a T-shirt with Swift’s cats, Olivia and Meredith, in a scene from Deadpool 2.

Ryan Reynolds, who stars in and co-wrote the script with Levy and Rhett Reese, is good friends with Swift in real life. He previously hinted at Swift’s appearance with a teaser for Deadpool & Wolverine shot in the same location as the singer’s All Too Well: The Short Film. Reynolds, Levy, and Hugh Jackman were also photographed with Swift and hung out with the singer several times.

Taylor Swift is notorious for her Easter eggs, and Reynolds might’ve dropped one himself. On Super Bowl Sunday, Reynolds premiered the trailer for Deadpool & Wolverine. He shared a photo of himself with Deadpool in the background, captioning it: “Has everyone seen the #Deadpool trailer? Also has anyone seen my wife?” His comments were related to Blake Lively, who attended the Super Bowl with Taylor Swift.

Of course, Taylor Swift’s presence in Marvel’s Deadpool & Wolverine isn’t confirmed, and, at the moment, it’s all speculation. Most likely, fans will have to wait to see the film in theaters before finding out whether Swift put on a superhero suit.
