Swiftmania is well underway in Sydney this weekend.

Playing her first show in the harbour city last night, Taylor Swift again returns to the stage at Accor Stadium on Saturday, and fans have been crowding into trains on the way to the venue.

On Saturday, a train passenger shared a picture of a carriage on the ‘Tay Tay Express.’

In honour of the event, Sydney trains have rebranded to the Swiftie-friendly moniker for fans travelling to Olympic Park.

Concertgoers can also enjoy listening to some of Taylor’s biggest hits blaring over the train’s loud speaker.

Public transport is free for ticket holders.

‘All aboard the Tay Tay Express! Final stop is Olympic Park via Shake It Off, Anti-Hero, I Knew You Were Trouble, You Belong With Me and Cruel Summer!’ a Transport for NSW social media post read prior to the tour’s commencement.

Fans were thrilled to see public transport getting into the Swiftie spirit: ‘I’m in Melbourne and I want to catch this train’ one user wrote.

‘I would catch a train just for this,’ wrote another.

Olympic Park has been extra busy Friday and Saturday night with blink-182 performing next door at Qudos Bank Arena.

It comes after NSW police encouraged the thousands of concertgoers to plan ahead of the weekend to avoid last minute stress.

Over 300,000 Swifties are expected to flock to Sydney’s Accor Stadium this weekend for the highly anticipated Eras Tour concert and in honour of the occasion, Sydney trains have rebranded to the ‘Tay Tay Express’

Acting Assistant Commissioner Andrew Holland announced ‘extra transport services will be made available this weekend and we encourage concertgoers to utilise them’.

Police operations will be in place from Friday 23 February to Monday 26 February to ensure the safety and security of all attendees and staff.

With large crowds expected Acting Assistant Commissioner Holland urged those who don’t have tickets to stay away from the stadium in order to avoid unwanted congestion.

Holland went on to say: ‘Anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated, and police will act in a fair but firm manner to ensure everyone has a good time but not at the expense of other people’s safety, so take care of one another’.

Swift is set to perform four shows in Sydney through to Monday, February 26.
