Sofia Vergara On Why She Doesn’t Want Kids: ‘Not Able To Give 100 Percent’
Nearly a year after the separation from her ex-husband Joe Manganiello, Sofía Vergara has opened up on dating life. During a conversation, she also mentioned the deal-breaker for her. The Modern Family star, earlier in an interview, had noted that her divorce stemmed from the disagreement with Joe about wanting children. Now, she has expanded on the reason behind her reluctance to not have kids.
The Griselda star recently sat down for a conversation with People. Speaking candidly, the actress highlighted her close relationship with her son as she had him young. She said, “I wish I was older sometimes because I would’ve been more mature, more prepared to be a mother, but that was what I got and what happened, adding, “But it is fun because I kind of grew up together with my son.”
Explaining why she did not want kids at the age of 50, Sofia explained that it takes a lot of sacrifices and energy to be a good mother. She further noted, “I didn’t think because of my career, the way I live my life, the way my marriage was, that it was fair to bring a kid to this world, and I’m not going to be able to give 100 per cent.”
