Highlights from the 2024 ESPY Awards After Serena Williams Hosts and Prince Harry Is Honored

For one night only, athletes from across every sport will gathered to celebrate incredible feats and remarkable moments.
The 2024 ESPY Awards were being held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on Thursday, July 11, with host is Serena Williams leading the way. She was joined by celebs like Jennifer Garner, Quinta Brunson, Lindsey Vonn, Drew Brees and her sister Venus Williams to both roast and honor the athletes of the year.
WNBA rookie star Caitlin Clark was the athlete with the most nominations going into the night, and took home the award for best women’s athlete, college sports and best breakthrough athlete. Patrick Mahomes was also a big winner, earning the awards for best NFL player and best athlete, men’s sports, as was A’ja Wilson, who won best WNBA player and best athlete, women’s sports.
The ESPYS also got the royal honor of having Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in attendance. Harry was honored with the Pat Tillman Award for Service, for his impact on the veteran community through the Invictus Games.
