Brink or Halloweentown? Travis and Jason Kelce Debate the Best Disney Channel Original Movies
A conversation about Travis Kelce’s Kids’ Choice Award nomination sent the brothers on a trip down memory laneTravis Kelce and Jason Kelce took a stroll down memory lane during the latest episode of their New Heights podcast on Wednesday, June 12.
During the chat, the Kansas City Chiefs player, 34, and his brother, 36, reminisced about their favorite childhood shows while discussing Travis’ Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards nomination.
Despite Travis’s recollection, Jason admitted he wasn’t a fan of the Nickelodeon show (though did “fall in love” with Doug and Hey Arnold!) and instead shared his fondness for Dragon Ball Z, a Japanese anime television series produced by Toei Animation.
The former Philadelphia Eagles center also mentioned his nostalgia for Cartoon Network, including shows like Dexter’s Laboratory, Ed, Edd n Eddy, and Johnny Bravo.
“That was decent. That was silly enough for me to enjoy it,” Travis shared. “Silly enough. I’ll say I’ll say silly enough. It wasn’t stupid.”
“Top 10, here we go,” Jason said, after pulling up a list. “Number one: Smart House. 2. Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century. Next, Halloweentown. I kinda like that one low-key more than Hocus Pocus.”
He continued, “Luck of the Irish, a very underrated movie. I watched it again … still slaps.”
“Alley Cats! Man that was a good one,” Travis interjected.
“I’m sticking with Brink,” Jason said, to which Travis added, “I’m with you.”
