Taylor Swift fans were filmed rushing towards the box office outlets at Sydney’s Accor Stadium as last minute additional tickets to the show were announced over speakers outside the venue in ‘dangerous’ move
Taylor Swift fans desperate to nab last minute tickets to her show were seen stampeding the venue in a viral TikTok video.
Would-be concert goers were captured on camera as they rushed to the box office at Sydney’s Accor Stadium after last minute tickets to the sold-out show were announced. The clip – filmed on Saturday ahead of Taylor’s second show in Sydney – shows a crowd of fans racing towards the ticket booths as the extra tickets were announced over speakers around the venue.
The hoard of desperate fans was labelled as “dangerous” by stunned users of the social media app while they watched the chaotic scene play out. The user who uploaded the clip captioned their post writing: “When they announce last minute tickets.”
Concerned TikTokkers then commented on the post stunned at what they were seeing. one wrote: “People about to be crushed.” A second added: “That is so dangerous.” A third agreed: “This looks wild. Someone will end up seriously hurt why would they let this happen it’s so dangerous and stupid.”
Fans attending Friday night’s show in Sydney were delighted when Taylor’s boyfriend Travis Kelce was spotted watching her perform in the crowd. He landed in Sydney on Wednesday to join Taylor and take in one of her Eras Tour shows after she supported him as his NFL team the Kansas City Chiefs cruised to victory at the Super Bowl LVIII.
Travis has now jetted back to Las Vegas to rejoin his team mates in their ongoing celebrations for their victory. Travis’ dad, Ed Kelce, previously admitted that now the football season is over Travis might fly to Sydney and Singapore to see her perform.
