Super Bowl 58 between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers is set to kick off at 6:30 p.m. ET Sunday, Feb. 11, 2024. The game will be played at Allegiant Stadium, home of the Las Vegas Raiders. Super Bowl 58 will air on CBS.
Four years ago, the Kansas City Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl at Hard Rock Stadium in South Florida. On Super Bowl Sunday — America’s unofficial national holiday — the two meet again in Las Vegas in the biggest sporting event in the country.
That 31-20 win in 2020 marked the beginning of an era of dominance for the Chiefs. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes was named Super Bowl MVP after leading a 10-point fourth-quarter comeback with two touchdown passes, and coach Andy Reid won his first Lombardi Trophy.
The Chiefs would make four of the five Super Bowls this decade. The team won its second championship last season in a 38-35 back-and-forth bout with the Philadelphia Eagles, with Mahomes again claiming MVP honors after throwing three TDs.
