In adding to Prince Harry How Prince Harry plans to spend his 40th birthday — with help from Meghan Markle
Prince Harry will be ringing in his 40th birthday surrounded by friends and family.
Page Six is told that the Duke of Sussex is planning to celebrate his big day — which is Sept. 15 — with a party organized by his wife, Meghan Markle.
The festivities will be held in Montecito, Calif., where the Sussexes live with their two kids: Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3.
According to multiple reports, Harry will then have a weekend getaway with his close friends in the mountains.
The Invictus Games founder’s birthday plans will be nice a break from the drama going on in his life surrounding his strained relationships with his dad, King Charles III, and his brother, Prince William.
Last month, Harry and the Prince of Wales, 42, were in the same room together when attending their uncle Lord Robert Fellowes’ funeral in Snettisham, Norfolk.
However, the once inseparable brothers did not speak and kept their distance.
“They arrived very discreetly,” a source told the Sun.
William and Harry were both there but we never saw them speak to each other and they were keeping their distance.” a local claimed to the outlet.
Additionally, it’s been reported that William does not want his younger brother at his coronation, which would take place if Charles, who was recently diagnosed with cancer, dies.
Things between Harry and the royal family took a turn for the worse after he and Markle, 43, stepped down from their royal duties in 2020.
The following year, the couple, who wed in May 2018, had a tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey, in which they accused members of the royal family of questioning how dark their son Archie’s skin would be when he was born.
