NBC commentator Jason Garrett admitted he had a bizarre mix-up involving Taylor Swift during Saturday’s game.
Garrett was in the booth alongside Mike Tirico to call the Kansas City Chiefs’ playoff win over the Miami Dolphins.
Taylor Swift watched the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Miami Dolphins on Saturday
The NBC broadcast booth was just above where Swift was sat
The former Dallas Cowboys head coach was sat just above where music superstar Swift was.
Swift was once again at Arrowhead Stadium to watch boyfriend Travis Kelce in action.
She took her seat inside a suite and kept warm during freezing cold temperatures in Kansas City.
Garrett and Tirico sat meters away from the music icon as they called the game on Peacock.
And Tirico revealed an embarrassing turn of events during the live game broadcast.
Speaking during the fourth quarter, the announcer said: “We’re just sitting here watching the game.
“The last quarter and a half there are people up and I’m thinking ‘they must love Jason Garrett.’
“People are pointing their camera up to our booth to take a picture of Jason.”
But Tirico eventually figured: “About ten minutes ago I thought ‘hey dummy, they’re taking a picture of Taylor.'”
And his NBC colleague Garrett laughed: “The worst part is I’ve been waving the whole time.”
Swift wore a custom made Kelce jacket as she watched the Chiefs win the wild card clash 26-7.
She was seen ‘swag surfin’ with Kelce’s mom Donna during the fourth quarter with the Chiefs rolling to victory.

And Swift and Kelce were spotting leaving together and holding hands after the game.
Saturday’s playoff win could be Kansas City’s last game at Arrowhead Stadium this season given their No 3 playoff seeding.
Swift was first seen in the suite next to Kelce’s mom at a game in September, and her romance with the NFL tight end was confirmed the following month.
