Kate Middleton pays tribute to late teen with cancer after fulfilling her ‘bucket list’ dream
On International Women’s Day, Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, honored the late Liz Hatton, a 17-year-old photographer who passed away from a rare and aggressive cancer in November 2024. Kate praised Liz and her mother, Vicky Hatton, for their strength and resilience.
Diagnosed with a terminal desmoplastic tumor, Liz curated a bucket list that included meeting the Princess. This wish was fulfilled in October 2024 when Liz and her family were invited to Windsor Castle, where she photographed an investiture ceremony and met with Kate and Prince William.
