CELEBRITY
Middle TN city among the most ‘Swiftie’ cities, Taylor Swift-focused study shows Justin Walker and Russell Falcon
Casino and gambling news outlet Casino.org recently set out to discover which U.S. cities boast the highest number of Swifties, also known as devoted fans of music superstar Taylor Swift (not to be confused with a “Swifty,” or UK slang for having a quick alcoholic beverage.)
The outlet analyzed 2023 attendance for Swift’s “The Eras Tour,” the number of shows within each city, Google search volume, TikTok posts, Facebook group members, and Swift-themed events. Cities were then given scores from 0 to 100 points. Obviously, only cities with a 2023 “Eras Tour” date were counted — so there may be some devoted cities elsewhere but for now, this is the data that was used.
So which U.S. city is most enchanted by Miss Americana?
Swifties caused seismic activity during Taylor Swift’s Los Angeles show: new research
Casino.org found the “Swiftiest” city in the U.S. is Santa Clara, California, the only city on the list to achieve a perfect 100/100 score. The study found that Santa Clara concertgoers posted nearly 10,700 TikToks from the city’s two “Eras Tour” shows alone. These shows even had an attendance number (137,000) higher than the city’s actual population (124,800)!
Tampa, Florida, came in as the second-most Swiftie city, with a near-perfect score of 98.7 points.
The other cities on the list are as follows:

100/100
Tampa, Florida

Houston, Texas
2.9/100
Las Vegas, Nevada

Holding up the rear of the list is Sin City itself. Las Vegas received a total score of 0 out of 100 points.
According to the data, only 6,800 TikTok videos were posted during the two-night “Eras Tour” stop at Allegiant Stadium in March 2023, apparently the lowest such statistic in the U.S. Other data indicates that 992 Las Vegans were part of Swift-themed Facebook groups, and only three events centered around the pop star were scheduled in the Las Vegas valley.
Other low-scoring locations included Houston (only 2.9 points) and Detroit (3.2 points).

Regardless of where they’re located, Swifties all over the world have only a few weeks left to wait for the star’s hotly anticipated 11th studio album, “The Tortured Poets Department.” Set for release on April 19, Swift first announced the project after winning Best Pop Vocal Album for her previous album “Midnights” at the 68th Grammy Awards in February.
While no singles have been released from the album so far, Swift released the tracklist days after announcing the album. The standard tracklist of the album features 16 songs and appearances from rapper Post Malone and British pop-rock band Florence and the Machine.
Finally, in case you were wondering, no U.S. cities earned scores that line up with a Swift song — no cities scored “22” or “seven,” as cool as that might have been.
