Mystery Man Accompanying Taylor Swift at Chiefs Games Finally Identified
The man suggested he was the one who made Swift’s ‘love connection’ with Travis Kelce.
A man spotted cheering for the Kansas City Chiefs alongside Taylor Swift at recent NFL games has finally come forward to identify himself.
The man has also suggested he is responsible for making a “love connection” between the “Blank Space” singer and Chiefs tight end, Travis Kelce. Swift and Kelce went public with their relationship in September 2023.
The information surfaced during a Saturday video interview conducted by FloRacing TV’s Matthew Dillner. In the interview, dirt track racer Danny Frye III told Dillner that he is the man who has appeared beside the pop star in her box at some of the Chiefs’ games.
One of Swift’s fan accounts on X later shared a clip from the video interview online.
Frye identified himself as Swift’s second cousin and said the two “grew up together.”
“Funny thing is, a lot of people have been trying to figure out who I am lately,” Frye said. “It’s been an interesting month or so. I’ve been going to a few Chiefs games.”
Dillner holds his phone up to the camera to show paused video coverage from a game Swift and Frye both attended. On the phone’s screen, Swift cheers while wearing a Chiefs jersey and embracing Frye.
Though Frye went on to say he “made a love connection” between Swift and Kelce, he did not expand on his involvement in forging that connection.
The romance has energized fans of Swift and the Chiefs alike, with some wondering whether the couple may soon push their relationship to the next step by getting engaged. Though a source close to the couple told Us Weekly that there were no plans for an engagement “anytime soon,” excitement surrounding the relationship has continued ahead of Super Bowl LVIII on Feb. 11.
The team made it past the first round of the NFL playoffs and is now striving for a chance to play in what would be their fourth Super Bowl in five years.
