NFL star Jason Kelce has officially signed with ESPN as an analyst for Monday Night Countdown.

After announcing his retirement this offseason, Kelce is moving into TV to take part in Monday Night Football.

The former Philadelphia Eagles superstar is signed on with ESPN for at least the next four seasons, and the network confirmed he will be a part of its coverage of Super Bowl LXI in 2027.

Sources told The U.S. Sun that Kelce will earn $1.8 million per year on his new deal, including a $1 million signing bonus.

“Jason’s addition to Monday Night Countdown will greatly strengthen our NFL coverage.”

Kelce expressed his excitement for joining ESPN and joked that his retirement was shortlived.

“Turns out, it was a short retirement! I’m excited to join ESPN, and particularly the Monday Night Countdown team,” Kelce said.

“ESPN was a consistent presence in our household growing up and the network helped shape who I am and my love of all sports.

“To now appear on that same screen is a full circle moment. And, I mean it’s freaking Monday Night Football! and I’m ready for some football.”Kelce will star alongside Scott Van Pelt, Ryan Clark, Marcus Spears, Adam Schefter, and Michelle Beisner-Buck on Monday Night Countdown.

Between Clark, Spears, and Kelce, ESPN will have over 30 years of NFL experience and two Super Bowl wins on its crew.
