The Prince of Wales has returned from a royal trip with wife Kate Middleton to their namesake nation, and he’s started a new project close to his heart.

On Thursday, Prince William launched a new £50 million ($63 million) initiative with Homewards Activator, a local coalition he’s worked with for years that aims to prevent and end homelessness, to get more people off the streets.

William, 42, paid a visit to Homewards Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole (BCP) to kick off the effort that will build, develop or refurbish homes.

William also visited Millenium House, Poole, an 11-bed mental health supported housing project where residents are given their own support plan to help get them to a place where they can live independently.

Homewards also has a Job Ready Program, taught at Bournemouth and Poole College, where participants can work toward employment opportunities
