Selena Gomez Jokes She and Emily Blunt ‘Shall Not Speak’ After Golden Globes Lip-Reading Drama.
Selena Gomez and Emily Blunt posed together for a tongue-in-cheek photo at the 2023 American Film Institute Awards referencing the drama that followed their caught-on-camera conversations during the Golden Globes.
The two stood together at the Friday event with hands covering their mouths, and Gomez captioned the picture “We shall not speak lol” when she shared it on Instagram.

Gomez and Blunt attended the Golden Globes on Jan. 7, and were caught in separate conversations that sent the internet buzzing with amateur lip-reading attempts.
Gomez, 31, was seen gossiping with Taylor Swift and Keleigh Teller, the wife of actor Miles Teller, at one point in the night.
Many online speculated that Gomez was telling the two about Kylie Jenner supposedly denying her request to take a photo with Timothée Chalamet, who Jenner is dating.

But Gomez reportedly “didn’t speak” with either Chalamet or Jenner at all during the ceremony. “There was never any drama,” a source told Us Weekly. “She never even ran into him.”
The “Only Murders in the Building” star later clarified on Instagram that she had been telling Swift about “two of my friends who hooked up.”
Earlier in the evening, when Blunt, 40, was walking the red carpet with husband John Krasinski, cameras captured him whispering what online users claimed were the words “divorce” and/or “I can’t wait to get through this.” Others said that the two were simply discussing the weather.
Although Blunt and Krasinski haven’t shared what was said, another source told Us Weekly that “There are no issues with Emily and John. They are absolutely not talking about divorce.”
“They think the rumors are funny and ridiculous,” the source added.
