Sofia Vergara Reflects on ‘Hard’ Time Away From Modern Family Crew
Sofia Vergara will always be remembered for her iconic role as Gloria in Modern Family.
The Colombian American actress was a comfort character for many during the run of the series, which lasted from 2009 until 2020.
Now, Sofia’s talking about how difficult it was to go from spending so much time with her co-workers, to not seeing them at all.
While chatting on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, Sofia reflected on how the Covid-19 pandemic hit them all hard.
The Coronavirus coincided with the show ending for good, meaning the group went from being together every day to not seeing each other at all.
“Can you believe that we finished Modern Family in 2020, and, you know, it was so emotional,” Sofia confessed.
“We have to be together a lot, we cannot just separate…And then two weeks later, the pandemic hit.”
“And so we didn’t see each other for almost four years until I did this thing in my house in November,” the star continued.
Sofia recently hosted the entire Modern Family bunch at her home in L.A.
