Sofia Vergara shared on her social networks that she is recovering from knee surgery, but she did it in a peculiar way.
She gave encouragement and advice for whoever is set to undergo surgery to take their precautions as she did, while also boasting about her boyfriend Justin Saliman, who is an orthopedic surgeon.
“If you ever undergo major knee surgery, make sure you get a hot doctor to sleep with you that night….. I love you Dr. @jdsaliman,” Sofia Vergara wrote in an image she posted on her Instagram stories, which shows her boyfriend, as he grabs her knee.
This is how the ‘Modern Family’ alum revealed that she underwent knee surgery and took the opportunity to thank Dr. Justin Saliman for the special care after the operation, without disclosing the reason for entering the operating room.
However, she was able to take advantage of having the orthopedic surgeon at home, with whom she began a relationship in October 2023, a few months after ending her relationship with ex-husband Joe Manganiello after seven years of marriage.
Who is Justin Saliman, Sofia Vergara’s boyfriend?
According to Page Six, Justin Saliman studied at Stanford University and has a medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine.
His online profile describes him as “an orthopedic surgeon trained in sports medicine and arthroscopy who specializes in treating shoulder, hip and knee injuries to preserve joints.”
He even reportedly invented a “revolutionary machine for meniscus restoration aids” and owns a new medical company.
Saliman is no stranger to the Hollywood scene, having previously been married to actress Bree Turner, known for TV shows such as ‘Grimm’ and the romantic comedy classic ‘The Ugly Truth’. The former couple separated in 2018.
