Surprising Reason Taylor Swift Won’t Perform at the Super Bowl

Taylor Swift, the girlfriend of Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, is a Grammy winner and music megastar. Having finished her Era’s Tour in December of 2024, Swift is now taking a well-earned rest along with Kelce as the pair look to make plans for the next stage of their lives.
But it appears that performing at halftime of the Super Bowl isn’t on the cards for Taylor just yet
According to a source speaking to the Daily Mail, one reason why Taylor won’t is in case the Chiefs make it to the game, and the other is that Swift’s business partnerships stop her from doing so.
“If Pepsi wasn’t the sponsor of the halftime show for so many years, then Taylor Swift would have potentially already been the performer,” the source said. “But she has had a long-standing partnership with Coke and sponsorship with them, so that was one glaring reason she was never able to do it.”
So we aren’t sure if Swift would end her relationship with Coke in order to perform at the Super Bowl, and in truth, that would be a big decision to make.
It likely wouldn’t be the best financial choice, but who knows what kind of money would be thrown at her to perform on such a big stage.
But it appears that Swift is a little hamstrung by her business dealings with Coke to be able to perform at the Super Bowl halftime show, but in what is an ever-changing world, we imagine that eventually, she will headline the NFL’s biggest game.
