Taylor Swift Has Landed: Star Arrives In Las Vegas For Super Bowl, NFL And Controversial Jet Tracker Confirm
Taylor Swift’s private jet has arrived at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas as the pop star is expected to attend Super Bowl LVIII to cheer on her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
After weeks of speculation, the NFL confirmed Swift will be attending Super Bowl LVIII shortly after her private jet touched down in Las Vegas on Sunday afternoon.
Swift’s arrival was also confirmed by Jack Sweeney, the Florida college student that runs an account tracking the pop star’s private jet flights who was recently threatened with legal action by Swift’s team.
According to the account, which collects and reposts public data from the Federal Aviation Administration, Swift’s jet left Hollywood Burbank Airport for a 34 minute flight to Las Vegas, a trip that cost $1,215 in jet fuel and released two tons of carbon dioxide emissions.
Swift played a concert in Tokyo, Japan only one day before the big game, requiring her to make a marathon 12-hour trip from Japan to California the night before.
