Taylor Swift’s Super Bowl Decision Amid Travis Kelce Concern: Report

Earlier Wednesday afternoon a report emerged suggesting Taylor Swift was the “target” of the NFL for its halftime show during Super Bowl LX next season at Levi’s Stadium.

“Taylor is the goal we want her to be doing the SB halftime show it has been something we should have done before,” a source told The U.S. Sun. “It would be historical and we would make the best numbers ever and get someone that everyone loves and that doesn’t create any controversy.”

“There is only one name in the target, for the majority of people in the offices: Taylor Swift,” the source later added. “It’s in everyone’s mouth, in everyone’s priority and we know that we will make history if she accepts to do the 2026 Halftime show. She is the biggest superstar in the world right now, and the impact of this show would be unique, much bigger than any other done until now at Super Bowl.”

Before Swifties get too excited, it sounds like Swift doesn’t plan on performing at the Super Bowl LX halftime show – unless boyfriend and Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce retires from the sport.

“She doesn’t want to do it now until Travis is fully retired as she would like to be at the game supporting him rather than performing at it,” an insider told DailyMail.com.

“When she eventually performs at it, she wants all her loved ones to be able to experience it. And as long as Travis is in the league, the Chiefs have a chance to be in the game, so she is going to wait to do it till he is officially done.”

Kelce has a decision of his own to make after he openly admitted he’s considering retirement after the 2024 season.
