Travis Kelce Gets Rave Acting Review From Legendary Hollywood Star

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has been earning accolades for his acting debut in the FX thriller series Grotesquerie. Notably, Emmy-winning actor Henry Winkler praised Kelce’s performance, stating, “He’s a natural.”
Winkler’s admiration for Kelce began after meeting him at a Chiefs game, where Kelce wore a Fonzie t-shirt—a nod to Winkler’s iconic role in Happy Days. This connection deepened when Kelce was cast in Grotesquerie, directed by Winkler’s son, Max Winkler. Impressed by Kelce’s portrayal, Winkler sent him an autographed picture and a congratulatory video.
Co-star Niecy Nash-Betts also lauded Kelce’s on-set demeanor, describing him as “open to suggestions, amenable, and very charming.” She appreciated his humility and eagerness to learn, noting that he actively sought her advice during filming.
Additionally, filmmaker Ryan Murphy, creator of Grotesquerie, commended Kelce’s performance and expressed interest in collaborating with Kelce’s partner, Taylor Swift, in future projects.
Kelce’s transition from the football field to acting has been met with enthusiasm, with industry veterans recognizing his potential in the entertainment realm.
