Travis Kelce ‘is leaning towards returning to the NFL’

Travis Kelce is “leaning” towards playing another season with the Kansas City Chiefs.
The 35-year-old sports star recently confirmed that he was considering his future after losing the Super Bowl to the Philadelphia Eagles, but sports reporter Dianna Russini has now revealed that Travis is currently planning to return to the Chiefs for another season.

Dianna said on ‘The Rich Eisen Show’: “I can just tell you from just having a few conversations with people around the league over the last few days there’s definitely a sense that Travis is going to try to play more.
“I haven’t heard anyone say, ‘Yeah, he’s really struggling with what he wants to do,’ it’s definitely leaning more toward that.
“That can, of course, change. This is going to be his decision, his decision only, but for this Chiefs’ operation looking to move forward here, I think they feel pretty good that Travis has got a little bit more left in him.”

Travis recently admitted that he’s considering his future.
The sports star – who is dating Taylor Swift – is taking some time to consider his options before he decides whether to return to the NFL next season or not.
Travis said on his ‘New Heights’ podcast: “I know everybody wants to know whether or not I’m playing next year, and right now, I’m just kicking everything down the road. I’m not making any crazy decisions.”
Travis admitted that losing to the Philadelphia Eagles at the Super Bowl was a “tough pill to swallow”. And Travis will only return next season if he’s fully committed to the idea.
He explained: “I’m gonna take some time to figure it out. And, I think I owe it to my teammates that if I do come back, it’s a wholehearted decision. I’m not half-a**ing it, and I’m fully here for them.”

Over a year and a half into dating, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are ready to put a ring on it. Us Weekly reports that while Kelce and Swift are not engaged yet, those close to them would not be surprised if the Kansas City Chiefs tight end proposes soon.

‘Those close to them actually think [Travis may do it] while they’re on vacation,’ one source said. That insider revealed that the couple plans to travel during their current downtime. (Swift finished her Eras Tour in December, while Kelce just wrapped up his NFL season at the Super Bowl.)

‘Taylor wants to go to multiple places in Europe and somewhere tropical,’ the source said.

A second source added that Kelce and Swift feel ready to move forward in their relationship. ‘They are both on the same page about taking the next step,’ that insider said.

The first source explained that the couple is ‘madly in love’ and very happy to have this time to lay low. ‘There’s no way to have a relationship when they’re all over the place with work,’ the insider said. ‘It’s going to be easier now to find time to go over plans and make sure everything aligns.’

The second source revealed that Swift and Kelce plan to spend a few months in Kansas City, Missouri, where Kelce is based. ‘They both want to rest and decompress,’ the insider said. ‘Neither of them have huge commitments coming up.

The timeline on their engagement depends in part on whether Kelce chooses to retire or play another season with the Chiefs, the first source said. After the Chiefs’ Super Bowl loss, Kelce is ‘reconsidering what he wants moving forward. He may come back next season.’

Us Weekly last reported on Kelce and Swift’s engagement plans in early December. At that point, a source said that Swift and Kelce would ‘love to be engaged [but] aren’t rushing it.’

A second source added, ‘Taylor does feel like Travis is The One, but jumping in is not her style. That’s just not how she does [things]. Marriage is a big deal, and she wants [it to be] forever.’
