Travis Kelce is ‘too famous’ and busy with Taylor Swift to text me back, ex-Chiefs player Tyreek Hill says
Tyreek Hill said Travis Kelce hasn’t texted him back because the tight end is too wrapped up in his relationship with Taylor Swift.
He’s no longer in the fr-end zone.
Former Kansas City Chiefs player Tyreek Hill claimed Travis Kelce has not returned his texts because the tight end is too busy dating Taylor Swift.
“I texted Kelce. He still hasn’t texted me back,” Hill, 29, told reporters outside the locker room Thursday.
The wide receiver — who played for the Chiefs from 2016 to 2021 before being traded to the Miami Dolphins the following year — quipped that Kelce, 34, was “probably still on his Taylor Swift thing.”
Hill shared that he also has not been in communication with Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes since they faced off in Germany on Nov. 5, 2023.
“I haven’t texted Mahomes since they beat our ass,” he said of the Chiefs pummeling the Dolphins 21-14.

“He’s probably still on his Taylor Swift thing,” the Miami Dolphins player told reporters.
“But yeah, man, those guys are too famous for me now, I guess,” Hill added, shrugging his shoulders.
Fans swiftly flooded Twitter to call out the Super Bowl champion for making petty comments about Kelce and Swift’s romance.
“Hill is no longer their teammate. He also takes every available opportunity to throw shade and shots at them. He should consider himself lucky to not be blocked,” one person tweeted.
Hill also claimed he hasn’t talked to Patrick Mahomes in months.
“Sounds like he doesn’t miss KC at all – little guy never stops talking about them,” a second person chimed in.
“I miss him in KC but hes annoying as f–k. I cannot stand the passive aggressiveness,” a third wrote.
“Maybe don’t burn bridges after you leave and this won’t happen…” another netizen commented.
Hill played for the Kansas City Chiefs from 2016 to 2021.
“Those guys are too famous for me now, I guess,” Hill said of Kelce and Mahomes.
“Travis was very kind and gracious to him in today’s press conference. He showed class. Tyreek, hmmm not so much,” another observed, with one more claiming Hill is “always being a victim.”
Others, however, backed Hill’s statement and slammed those taking his comments too seriously.
“Hes forever GOATED as a Chief. Hes just playing around here,” a supporter tweeted.
The couple have made headlines each time Swift has showed up at one of Kelce’s games.
Another agreed that Kelce and Mahomes, 28, got “way more famous after he left.”
Hill previously touched on Kelce’s romance with the “Anti-Hero” singer, 34, a few months ago. When asked about their budding relationship during a November 2023 press conference, he told reporters, “I’m not getting into that.”
“That’s a dangerous crew,” he joked of the Swifties. “I’m not felting into that. No comment.”

Since then, Kelce’s popularity has skyrocketed, and many Swifties have joked that the “Lover” singer put the two-time Super Bowl winner on the map.
The couple seem to be quite serious, spending Christmas together with their families and celebrating New Year’s Eve with a midnight kiss.
Kelce most recently hinted at his Valentine’s Day plans with Swift in this week’s episode of his “New Heights” podcast.
