Travis Kelce joins Niecy Nash in a dance on the set of Grotesquerie
Jason and Travis Kelce are more alike than NFL fans had ever realized. Apart from sharing the same features and stances, the siblings also seem to have a weak spot for animals and racing. Just days after the 34-year-old attended the Kentucky Derby in complete mafia fashion for some good old-fashioned horse racing and almost won $100,000, the former Eagles star has proved that he too might be interested in some friendly animal competition.
In a post on X, a fan tagged Travis and Jason Kelce in a @DuckOffRaces post. The fan recalled that they had been discussing other kinds of animal racing besides just horses and chose to introduce them to the rubber duck racing page. The former center responded to the tag saying, “I’ve seen these videos before, always been interested, been a fan of ducks since Gordon Bombay introduced me to their power.”
After Kelce acknowledged the page, they wound up tweeting back, “Jason Kelce Duck Off for the Brazil Game.” Surprisingly, the 36-year-old responded once again. However, this time, he got himself in deeper. The former Eagles center stated, “I don’t even know what I’m getting myself into here, but I’m inclined to say yes.” The father of two also questioned whether the event would be held in Brazil or Philadelphia, but stated that either way, he was in.
With Jason Kelce having retired earlier this year, the 36-year-old seems to have a lot of time on his hands. So much so, that he has even taken shots at the Cowboys and has even been closely monitoring the socials of new drafts like Drake Maye and more.
Jason Kelce comments on Drake Maye’s over-stuffed pockets
In a recent post on X just a day ago, the New England Patriots shared a clip of their new draft, Drake Maye, walking into off-season practice with the rest of the team. While the 21-year-old seemed to be in a chirpy mood, a sports broadcaster, Ross Tucker, ended up calling out his rather filled-up pockets. Even former Philadelphia Eagles star, Jason Kelce got caught up in the conversation stating that it would have made sense if the young athlete was not wearing a backpack too.
Kelce commented, “I mean, I understand overstuffed pockets if it’s your only option to hold things, but this has to be cumbersome to walk around like that.” While the world might never know what the quarterback keeps on him, the former Eagles’ center’s attention shifted pretty quickly. Apart from discussing Maye’s pockets, the 36-year-old also ended up hyping Tucker up.
Kelce stated that his upcoming “player evaluations” were around the corner and added that he could not wait for it. The father of two wound up saying, “I think there’s something to it.” It seems Kelce is well acquainted with Tucker, or maybe he’s simply having some fun post retirement.
