The shooting at Union Station in Kansas City happened arount 3 pm local time

Travis Kelce was seen at a local restaurant hours after the Super Bowl Parade shooting

In the aftermath of a tragic shooting that marred the celebratory atmosphere of the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl parade, star tight end Travis Kelce was captured sharing a moment with local law enforcement.

Photos obtained by TMZ revealed Kelce’s presence at the Granfalloon Restaurant and Bar just hours after the shooting near Union Station.

Kelce seen out & about hours after shooting
Eyewitnesses reported that Kelce, accompanied by teammates, was approached by police officers for a selfie outside the establishment.

Kelce, appearing relaxed, obliged the officers before joining his teammates inside.

Sources indicate that Kelce was seen with a beer in hand, seemingly trying to unwind after the day’s events.

The incident occurred shortly before 7 PM CT, a stark contrast to Kelce’s earlier appearance at the parade where he drunkenly engaged with fans and teammates, even leading a rendition of Garth Brooks’ “Friends In Low Places.”

The festivities, however, took a somber turn when gunfire erupted near the parade route, resulting in multiple injuries and one fatality.

Hours after the incident Kelce expressed his condolences on X, stating, “I am heartbroken over the tragedy that took place today. My heart is with all who came out to celebrate with us and have been affected. KC, you mean the world to me.”

The Chiefs organization also issued a statement, condemning the violence and expressing solidarity with the victims and their families.

Police Chief Stacey Graves provided updates, confirming at least 29 known victims receiving treatment and three individuals in custody for further investigation. The motive for the shooting remains unclear.

Despite the chaos, Donna Kelce, Travis Kelce’s mother, recounted the swift action taken to ensure the safety of the Chiefs team members and staff.

“Everybody who was with the team, they got us out of there really fast,” she stated to the Kansas City Star.
