Vanderpump Rules’ star Lala Kent welcomes second baby conceived via sperm donor
Lala Kent’s little one has arrived!
The “Vanderpump Rules” star gave birth to baby No. 2 on Tuesday after conceiving via sperm donor.
Although Kent did not share any pictures of the birth or her baby, she did share a statement via Instagram Story that read, “Welcome to the world, my love.”
She then added, “9.3.24” at the bottom of the Story.
The Bravolebrity, 34, became a mom in March 2021 when she and then-fiancé Randall Emmett welcomed daughter Ocean, now 3.
The former couple called it quits later that same year.
In November 2022, Kent told “Scheananigans With Scheana Shay” podcast listeners that she was “definitely” pursuing intrauterine insemination for her second child.
“I will not even attempt to try and do it a different way,” she explained at the time. “I don’t want another person involved.”
The reality star elaborated on her decision while speaking to Lisa Vanderpump in a March episode of “VPR.”
She insisted there was no “changing [her] mind,” saying, “I don’t want a baby daddy. It’s not happening.
Kent later explained to the “Talk” co-hosts that she is looking forward to not having to “share” her child on holidays.
“I know it sounds selfish to say I want it to be mine,” she continued, admitting that co-parenting has been “extremely difficult” and “rips [her] heart out.”
