Will Taylor Swift be at Chiefs 2024 Super Bowl Parade with Travis Kelce?
Some media claim Swift is already on her way to Down Under
According to Australian media outlets, Taylor Swift, who is currently dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, is en route to Melbourne for her Eras Tour. The Grammy winner was reportedly flying from Los Angeles to Hawaii before heading to Melbourne for her sold-out shows.
Melbourne TV station 10 News First tweeted: “Taylor Swift is officially on her way here. A private jet, believed to be carrying Swift, departed LAX earlier this morning en route to Hawaii, with flight logs showing the plane is due to land in Melbourne shortly after midnight tonight.”

Although there was no official confirmation from Swift’s camp or the jet’s operating company, it was reported that the same plane had previously transported Swift from Tokyo to the United States in time for the Super Bowl. Australian journalist Anthony Lucas even tracked Swift’s plane and tweeted, “Refueling complete. @taylorswift13 is on the way!”
Despite efforts to keep her travel plans private, thousands of fans were tuning in to watch Swift’s journey from Los Angeles to Melbourne. According to the live flight tracker website FlightRadar24, Swift is expected to land in Melbourne at 12:31 a.m. Thursday, just one day before her scheduled performances.
KC mayor Quinton Lucas would welcome Taylor if she decide to attend
If Taylor goes to the parade, the Kansas City Police Department might face challenges in handling the influx of fans if more Swifties flock to “The Heart of America.” However, Kansas City mayor Quinton Lucas refuted this claim: “Not true at all. Just had a great chat with @kcpolice Chief Graves. We’re enchanted to welcome everyone to tomorrow’s parade and the women and men of our police department are prepared to keep all safe. We’ll have a great championship celebration for our Chiefs!”
Ehalt reported that the Chiefs’ victory parade for winning Super Bowl 57 drew close to a million attendees. If Taylor Swift were to attend, the crowd would undoubtedly swell even more. The parade route spans two miles, passing through Grand Boulevard before culminating at Union Station, the site of the 2023 NFL draft. The victory rally is set to kick off at 1:45 p.m. ET.
Assuring adequate security from the city’s police department, Mayor Lucas has alleviated concerns about safety. In addition, attendees won’t have to worry about inclement weather, as The Weather Channel predicts only a ten percent chance of rain during the victory parade and rally.
