Stadium employee has a message for Taylor Swift

“She’s a sweetie pie. Very down to earth.”

During his week’s NFL postseason game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills in Buffalo, Taylor Swift was in attendance to support her boyfriend, Chiefs’ tight end Travis Kelce. And it sounds like she made the day of one stadium employee at the game.

This week, ticket taker Jerris Rainey recalled his experience meeting Taylor Swift at the game, revealing that not only was Swift willing to take a photo with her at the game, but the pop superstar also gave her a handsome tip when she found out she worked at the stadium.

And she had a clear message for Swift about how she was treated.

“She’s a sweetie pie. Very down to earth,” Rainey told 7 News’ Michael Wooten on Voices Monday night. “I just wanted to just see her, and she – you know – she stopped, and she asked me if I worked at the stadium. I said yes. And she asked if she could give me a tip. And she gave me $100 and then she asked if I wanted to take a picture with her and I said yes.”

It’s sure to be an experience that Rainey won’t soon forget, and the whole situation speaks to just how much Swift cares about her many adoring fans, even out in public.
