The stage is set for Super Bowl LVIII! The Kansas City Chiefs have successfully returned to the biggest stage in football and stand a chance to win back-to-back championships if they beat the San Francisco 49ers.
While the game itself is exciting, this time, fans have another reason to be excited. It is the presence of Taylor Swift. The pop star will be present at the game not as a performer, but as a fan supporting her boyfriend Travis Kelce.
There have been doubts surrounding Taylor Swift being present for the Super Bowl in Las Vegas on the 11th of February. This is because she has a four-night tour scheduled in Tokyo, Japan, which will conclude just a day before the Super Bowl. Her final show as per The Eras Tour site states that she will perform at the Tokyo Dome on the 10th and her show is likely to wrap up by midnight. It would mean she will need to rush to take a flight from Japan to The States, which is a 10-hour journey.
Time is in her favor as Japan is 14 hours ahead of The USA, thereby she will be able to undertake the journey to Vegas and make an appearance at the Super Bowl to support Travis Kelce. It will be a hectic journey as she is working off a very tight schedule, but when one is in love, none of that does seem to matter! Swift will arrive by 5 PM one day before the big game.
Taylor Swift will be able to get some rest before attending the Super Bowl
Swift would have a day to relax and unwind before the big game. Her journey could be shorter considering she will be flying private. So, no matter what, Taylor Swift will be present and in attendance at Super Bowl LVIII to represent the Kansas City Chiefs and Travis Kelce.
The NFL must be overjoyed at this as it translates to them getting more views. The Super Bowl is one of the most viewed sporting events in the world, it grossed 115 million views last year.
This time, with Swift present, there is a chance that the number could surge to 140 million. This season, when the pop star first made her public appearance at a Chiefs’ game in September of 2023, the game became the most-watched television program of the week. She has become a regular visitor at the team’s games ever since attending 12 games, including all playoff games.
Assuming the Kansas City Chiefs do win the Super Bowl this season, Kelce and Swift will not get to spend enough time together to celebrate their win. The reason being the next leg of her Eras Tour commences on the 16th in Melbourne, Australia. It is remarkable to see Taylor Swift literally travel across the world to be present for her beau.
